Cutting holes in Subarus

    We got a Subaru in the shop today for a sunroof. I normally dont care when i see the roof get cut open but I couldnt help but cringe watching the Impreza Outback getting its brains blown out lol. Here are some pics

    yeah when they're done its hard to tell the difference. Its the middle part lol

    so the cross members are removed from the roof ?
    i would at least place some dynamat or similar to prevent the tin noise

    The roof is reinforced with brackets on the sunroof and they pad the metal so theres no noise

    I'm not working today so I can't find out how much they charge but if you want you can call up there and talk to jason (770) 969-9090 (spectrum sound, union city) IIRC they usually range from 795-1195. turn around is 1 day usually and they have a lifetime warranty.

    as far as weight I'm not sure. ill try and weigh one of the units. if I had to guess it would probably be around 20-25lbs
