Cyl 2 misfire CEL

    I only drive the car once/week tops. Have had this CEL come up randomly on starts. I've just been clearing it with my Cobb AP. It's always Cylinder 2 misfire. Afterwards, the car seems to run fine.

    Last 3 weeks, no CEL, but I have a track day in November so if something is brewing I need to figure it out.

    Coil pack going bad? Anything else I should look at?

    Might just need to an entire tune-up on your car? If not, then check to make sure a spark-plug isn't failing. It probably is the coil pack though.

    swap the coil pack and see if the misfire follows. swap injectors and see if the misfire follows. It will most likely be one of the two. What kind of injectors do you have?

    clean your grounds, I have ground straps from the heads to the frame rails just for a false sense of hope
