I know that a lot of you all are closer to Marietta like myself. It looks like more people wanted Duluth. I will also attach directions. Lets caravan from the Sam's Club off Clairmont. Hey all, www.acura-legend.com had a meet today and D&B too. We are trying to rejuvinate our meets. We use to pull of 12+ hour meets. Now we are down to a few cars. We are getting there though. I saw the nice caravan! Mad props on that. While you were eating I wandered down and checked out the cars. On my way out there I met one owner with long hair and earings. He looked like some of my regular friends in Chattanooga, definately someone I want to hang with. I also met one guy and a female later when I returned with my car. We talked a bit and I admired the coordination some more. I just wanted to let you know that you deserve great credit for being so organized. At one time the Legends were so organized we got an aplause on our exit from the starbucks parking lot on Barrett Pkwy. I hear you will be at the SCCA event next weekend. The Legends are also attending that. It will be my first run with the SCCA in my 1988 Legend that I picked just for this purpose. I do hope to see you there and get some time to meet the owners. The variety in owners I saw definately reminded me of the Legend crew. Props again! Later! Lee
Thanks for the praise Lee. I unfortunately am stuck at work today, so I couldn't go to D&Bs. I will be at the Auto X Event next week along with Miloman, Black WRX with the Carbon Fiber Wing Risers and monster Carbon Fiber Hood Scoop. I am not sure who else is going to be at the AutoX, but Milo and I are there at pretty much every event. Stop by and say hello. What class are you going to be running in on Sunday?
Damn, what happened to that one. Looks aweful, good to see you made it out and are back in another Legend. I had the same thing with an 02 WRX, though not nearly as bad as that.

I am not to sure on the classes. I know I have to contact the safety stewards this week to do a precheck on my car. I am running a basically stock 1988 Legend coupe 5spd. FF configuration. I don't care what class I am in. This is just a test for the car. All I have done is a cheap ram intake and Brombo x/Slotted/nickle plated rotors. All the rest of the $4k I have spent went into brand new OEM parts to get this thing running properly. My overall goal for this particular car is about $15-$20k investment and run it in the SCCA at road atlanta. I will definately stop by and say hello! You seem like a cool group! Later! Lee

Very cool. I pretty much hold the Legend community in Atlanta together. I do constant phone calls, emails, posts, and scouting. I am hopping it will pay off this summer. I am also cordinating the first ever National Legend & RL meet! This is in 2 weeks in Dallas, TX. I am very involved in meets, and Legends. Later! Lee
That's cool that you hold the Legend Clubs together. If you haven't run that car, you should be able to run Novice Class. Hope to see you out there.

Well the Legend community in Atlanta is actually really storng. We have a problem because our main forum goes down often, and the president and vice president of the club sold their Legends. Also for some reason about half of the Legends in ATL hate the forum for some unkown reason. Now we are on 2 forums, at the least, and we have nothing for meets. I am doing all I can to revive this. Last year I went so far as to open my house up for free to anyone going to NOPI! This will be repeated. Later! Lee
Once you get home and see the whole thing you will realize he died upon impact. He got in the car so fast he didn't put on his seat belt. The worst part was when I saw the accident scene. He took a right hand turn at high speed and ended up leaving the road on the right. This would fit if the rear slid out in the turn, but it didn't. I had replaced a frozen caliper on the rear with a remanufactured unit. This wheel had so much more braking force than the others that it set the ABS off like crazy. He did not know about this problem with my car. He hit that turn and applied the braked for the stop sign ahead and the car pulled itself off the road. If I had done the proper thing and replace both calipers he migh have lived. At least he would not have died then. He was a good friend of mine for over 7 years. I knew about his criminal history, at least what he told me, and I accepted it. I am use to being lied to and used. Wealthy people with an open heart have this done to them often. Later! Lee
So it is not some guy that you met thru a posting for a roommate. Sorry about that comment, I hope I didn't offend you. I definitely did not intend to. I have had bad experiences in the past with roommates who were not my friends before hand. If you knew about this, then that is different.

Well, I personally feel like when we have huge turnouts, we should have STis together and the WRXs together by color.
I am use to it. It does not bother me because it is your indipendent view. When he was 17 he would only light a cigaret when I did. He use to steal my cd's then bring them into my car and say he bought them. I knew, but didn't care. His mother left him when he was very young and his father lost it when faced with the second divorce and attempted suicide. This is when he moved in with thugs and got way off track. I bailed him out for his first arrest for driving without a license. He got poped for it again and he hadn't paid my for the first one, so I didn't bail him out. He disapeared for a while and showed up in a super stretch limo wearing new clothes and a mavado watch. The next day he is driving a s500. The next day I get calls about the benz being stolen. I see him in it and chase him. I have the police on my cell and chase him all over town. I was on his rear bumper until I blew the motor in my 4cylinder Camry. He got away. A few more years and I hear from him living in New orleans. He is planning to get married and I am suppose to be the best man. He gets picked up at work for a warrent. He gets off on the charges, then admits to me he did it when we get the video of him running from the cop. When he came to Atlanta to live with me I clearly asked him about his jail time and him having a clean record. He lied. The rest is in the news. Later! Lee
