I'm getting either a downpipe or am Ultimate racing Cat-back very soon. I haven't decided on either yet. The only issue with the downpipe is that it's going to affect my rather expensive 90k Platinum warranty, which isn't yet 10,000 miles gone.

What would you guys think? I'll eventually be installing a downpipe, maybe later down the road, but would a cat-back be a smarter choice since the car and the coverage are so new? Just wanting opinions. Thanks!

Ok, thanks for reading, but I think I'm going with the catback. I'll do that and start modding the suspension next, and then when my 5 year warranty is out, out with the stock cats and other warranty questionable activities. :D

Not any worse than posting the install process for a catless exhaust system in a journal. I didn't say I did it....and I didn't say I was going catless. :D

Also, what're the chances the UR catback won't bolt up to the stock DP?

If it's designed specifically for the '08 (which it is), it will bolt right up to the stock DP. I don't think that UR would design and produce a catback and then limit themselves with it not working on the stock DP. That's just not a sound business decision.

Contact them and find out if they mate. I don't think my new DP would mate to a stock setup.
