My defi egt recently has been acting up on me. Sometimes it reads normal, then it will slowly sweep and then peg the gauge, then will all together go to zero and will not respond to the control unit inputs. What do I need to fix/replace?

Sounds like amybe the sensor. You could probably check it with a multimeter. Have you tried to contact Defi support?

Its either the sensor or a grounding issue I would think.

    Yeah,

Grounding issue would be my first guess.
    Then I'd check the sensor.

In all honesty I see two issues.....ground bad or the sender is bad.
