yeaa, what i meant is i want to do it myself but i don't own a lift. and i don't want to pay 60+ $$ to get an install :/
so i was wondering if anyone could let me borrow their lift/ratchet for a couple minutes? :(

I have a set of ramps and a garage. You don't need a lift unless you don't like getting a little dirty.

I can definitely help with the Install. I have 4 jack stands and tools.

If you do it over at wagunz_pwn, even better.

When I first got my Suby I didn't wanna wait 4 days to do mine (jack stands were at my parents). So I crawled under the car and did the catback without jacking up the car at all (stock height 04). It was tight and a pain but I got er done. LOL.

I think I did the same thing. Or I backed it up onto a curb and did it. OR, and I really REALLY hope I didn't do it this way....I might have used the OEM jack. :eek3: :eek:hnoes:

Congratulations. You're welcome to the garage if you need it.

ScoobyMike and I did this with my car when I first got my exhaust. I think we decided about halfway through the install that we would be better off with Ramps or Jack Stands, and ran to Autozone and got some. Needed something else from the Autoparts store also, maybe PB Plaster.

Better on the curb than on the factory jack for sure. I have done the curb thing when I was out of town and my oil drain plug fell out because the idiot at the dealer forgot to tighten it.
