    i know most of you know about the new rear defuser on the 06 sti

    but did you know that the the skid panel was made longer to direct air past the engine and firewall and into the inside of the wheels to cool the brakes?

    and theres more! theres also some panels that run under the floor board to further smooth out the bottom of the car.

    and i know some of you dont like the window defuser but its a nice design also redirecting more air onto the wing for improved downforce at lower speeds.

    i just found this out and thought it was kinda cool.

    I didnt kno about some of the stuff under the car just to "smooth" it out. Thats way cool; good find JT.

    Thats neat stuff. They really do their research at subaru :p.

    04 STi has virtually no under paneling, 05 has the sides, 06 is virtually flat. It's pretty nuts.

    06 = pia to work on the undercarriage, suspension, breaks, etc....I would guess anyways...

    how do you know it helps cool the brakes?
