Did anyone catch the Dave Mathew's Band this week at the Verizon Ampitheater? I went last night, Angel surprized me with tickets for our 9 year anniversary. The show was great! It was my thrid timd seeing DMB live and they were fantastic@!
Went on Tuesday.. It was pretty awesome. Had crappy lawn seats though... Wish I could have been closer. Don't care much for that venue.. But, yeah... great live show as usual..
I wanted to post something about this and let everyone know that the real show was in the opener. The Avett Brothers are effing amazing! If you haven't heard 'em, check them out on blip.fm or something. The music's great, but the real draw is in the live show.
I saw them Wednesday night. One of my friends scored some VIP tickets. We had a little box area to ourselves and access to the Cadillac Club. The Avertt Borthers were a little too folksy to me, but DMB but on a great show. I'm not really a fan, but I enjoyed it.
That place would be a little better if they put bigger screens on either side of the stage. I swear, my plasma is bigger than the screens they have....
It was the sax guy. We had great seats, second level, second row dead center. These two kids in front of us would not sit down though!
my wife is in training for another triathlon season. We had a killer workout that morning at 5AM and could barely walk how's that for an old man. One-arm pushups bitches!
