Congrats! Two of my close friends in NJ have 3 boxers between the 2 of them (I'll dig up some pictures and post up). They are great dogs and I've never heard of any problems with the breed. From experience, they are great with kids and people, in general, and make great loving pets. In fact, one of the boxers is trained as a hospital therapy dog and makes weekly/monthly visits to a children's hospital. Very cool. Enjoy the new pup!

Since you have 2 you should not have a problem. I know some people that have a boxer by itself and it is very energetic. But if they are together all the time they will play and that will keep the overexcitement level down. Good luck.

I had to take my dog in for x-rays this morning. She has a slight limp...

My boxer used to tear up everything made of paper. For some reason he just loved to shred it up and leave laying all over.

To the OP, your dog is cute, it seems like it has a nice personality considering how it acts with your other dog. To the guy I quoted please let me know the outcome of the x-rays. I know a really good orthopedic surgeon that helped my dog that had a limp.
