Has anyone had to have a duplicate made of their Subaru car key? Do they have blanks of these at Ace or some place like that? Where did you get your duplicate key from? Thanks.

I went to some suby dealership on the northside that was cutting blanks, they offered me a genuine "Subaru" key for $20 or so or the knockoff for much less. Their blanks were the same exact key as stock but didnt say Subaru on them.

I was able to do that on my 2004 WRX but the immobilizer screws things up with the 2006's, and I think the 2005's as as well. I think there's an additional RFID chip in the new key sets on the newer cars that's married to the ECU.
