EGT gauge - temp range

    what should be the temp range for a stage 2 EJ20
    Idle ?
    Hwy speed 60-70 mph

    Currently I noticed when engine cold it gets up to 900F then drops back to 800F. running 50-60mph = 1200F (approx)

    Probe is on the Driver side manifold
    EGT/BST gauge

    That's nowhere near too high, don't sweat it. :)

    If it goes much over 1500F then worry. At about 1600F the aluminium in the engine starts to soften. Thats something to worry about. :p
