EJ series CAD model?

    Does anybody have a dimensionally correct EJ series motor CAD model

    not that I know of. was brought up on nasioc a while back and went nowhere.

    just the outside block dimensions? getting something intricately detailed will be next to impossible

    Is TopSpeed a sema member? I know they provide some cad drawings for certain vehicles. We're not, so I have no idea if Subaru is included.

    i would think that's like asking for coca-cola's full recipe, but i could be wrong.

    cobb builds strokers, but i'm not sure now into the motor they go for the build. have you asked them?

    i can get access to a CMM machine to find out the coordinates of certain points with respect to a reference point but engine may be too large and not clean to get it into that area

    Just looking for the outer dimisions not the internals.

    Doug can't you laser scan a block and get one?

    ^^ my question, also. There has to be some 3-D modeling company in the area that can scan it for you.

    There is....they had Lucy's heads laser scanned already....that's why I asked that. But it may be very expensive to do so and if I know Doug he LOVES free things.
