so i'm catless, with the de-foulers and cleared codes with my AP and today i went to get my emissions done. i stood next to the guy running the test towards the back of the car and can clearly smell fuel, so i assume he can too. but he doesn't blink an eye, never look under the car for a cat andhands me my passed paperwork. love it!
what was funny is that we were standing next to the exhaust and could clearly smell fuel. but in his eyes, if there's not a cel, the cat must be ok
running rich does not mean fail but im suprised after you reset codes with AP and still pass, normally it take a few days to generate history
I had mine done at an oil change place and one of the techs looked under the car where it's open underneath and laughed...he thought I was never gonna pass...I should have put some money on it....next time...:naughty:
I did mine with an open downpipe and was in there like two days before with "much quieter exhaust" -said the tech. I was like yeah I had to change the exhaust to pass haha.
