You will need a reflash and/or a CEL fix

Actually, you dont need a reflash. You can use the cel fix for the up pipe. Then use a mechanical fix (DOuble Spark Plug Anti Fouler) for the rear O2 sensor. They pretty much just plug their computer into your OBDII port and as long as your computer thinks everything is fine, it will pass. If you have a CEL you will not pass.

Would an EM make me pass by it self? If so, how much are they and what kind is good. Please keep in mind im a neewby. Not sure what a resistor fix or a cell fix is.

an EM would make you pass.

you can do open source ( ie is free) or get the best em ever. COBB AP! but itll run you 600.

What is open source? Not really wanting to spend 600, but would be willing to pay someone to help me make this problem go away.

I just got an AP and it is worth every cent, or contact Scott Siegel. You will also maximize your mods with EM.

If you do not have a catalytic convertor(cat) on your car than w/out some tweaking you will fail.Ideally you would have a cat. installed. Some people try to teach the computer around the check engine light(cel). If you have been driving your car for a few weeks and the cel is not on than you should pass. You might could ask the place to check your o.b.d. monitors before doing the emissions test.If they are all good then you will pass unless you have a bad gas cap.

JAES, where are you located? Your cheapest option would be to use the resistor fix on the up pipe and the O2 sensor (double SPark Plug Anti Fouler) fix for the rear O2 sensor. It will cost you less than $10 worth of parts and about 30 minutes of time to put everything on. Then go to Advance, autozone, etc...and have them checl your car to see if there are any codes. If not codes, go get your emmissions done.
