I see this Invidia N1 racing cat back, new and good price. I know the racing N1 doesn't have a resonator in it. Has anyone ever heard one ? How will that effect the sound vs one with a resonator ?
No resonator on my current catback. It does drone more than the stocker did, but not too bad. Now the Blitz....
I also have no Resonator or Cats, and I have no drone. My exhaust is a 2.5 diameter pipe though so it is not nearly as loud as everyone with 3" exhaust. I would probably have a horrible drone with the 3".
I own the resonated version of the exhaust, basically the resonator is there to keep highway drone down which there is some. Also, the resonator reduces the sound alltogether by a few DB's. I'll see if I can find some numbers.
