Anyone knows the size of the bolt that hold the engine cover compartment on the bottom of the car? My came off and instead of driving to subaru to get replacement, I was wondering if i can just get it at local hardware store?

If you are talking about the plastic splash guard.

I was just under there a few days ago, they are 12mm bolts with a 1.25 thread pitch.

i dont think its M12 because its not structural (the spash pan) no reason to use such heavy bolt

If its the splash pan its M8 shoulder bolt (11mm shoulder)
