While I cant say the install was uneventful, the results are amazing. While tightening down one of the studs on my front left strut tower, the stud sheared! :eek:hnoes: Great, thanks Subaru. If you look at the stud, you can see that is a defective cast. I'm not so sure they'll warrant it. Scott isnt sure either...In addition, we also broke an adapter who's end is now stuck in a socket...

Anyways, I dont have pictures on my camera yet, so these are from my cell phone.

Dude, I am taking my car up to SoG on Tuesday b/c I looked under my hood the other day and one of my strut bolts was sheered off too. Crazy thing is that I am still on the stock suspension.

Heh, I've decided that despite being a heavy metal production company, Fuji Heavy Industry had Subaru cast some shitty quality studs. I will prob. pull the strut mount and see if I can take it apart and tap that stud out and replace it. If they'll fix that under warranty for ya, lemme know, I'll come in and try to get mine done. I've been debating though, I may just go ahead and upgrade to hardened strut mounts.

How is your ride??? I feel like STi Struts with JDM pink springs are too bouncy on highway driving. Do they reduce bouncy feeling compare to stock springs??

There is a lot less of the highway bounce I experienced with the stock springs, I wasnt able to drive my car for more than a day though before I ran into new problems.
