Was wondering, for these fog lights that I'm buying for my car, they come with H11. Does that mean that if I buy aftermarket bulbs, they HAVE to be H11 sized?

Oh also, (Yes double post.), if the fog lights do not come with HIDs, would a conversion kit be an absolute necessity in order of the H11 HID bulbs to work properly?

    conversion kit?

you don't want to put HIDs in a reflector that's NOT designed for HIDs.

Why not? Will it be too bright at night for public use?

the reflectors weren't designed for light like that. so it's brighter for oncoming traffic and distracting. and it really doesn't change much for you. actually can make it worse.

Okay. Makes sense. It wasn't going to be for me to see better actually. It's all cosmetic. I really like how the fog lights look.
Actually. I just like fog lights in general. Lol

Save your money, HID fogs are awful and dangerous :)

FWIW, the bulb type refers primarily to the base style/size. If you do want to replace the bulbs, you will need to look for that base. Several manufacturers make bulbs in that style/size. A lot of the "HID" bulbs will basically "re-base" a standard low quality Chinese D2S into a HXX base so it fits. Doesn't make it right.

I wish my car came with the OEM foglights.
I thought if I get them, I can accent my pink emblem with pink fogs for the night. Hahah.
Saw it on a white Camry and I thought it looked pretty good.

Hahah. It'll only look good if my headlights were white though.
    We'll just have to see.
