One of the bulb needs to be replaced and I have no idea how it comes out. I have an 05 sti, and my question is.. does that certain piece pop off (surrounding the fog light)? or do i have to go behind the bumper and mess around with screws? I wanted to take it to SOG but they wanted $60 thanks.
Either the fog light comes out itself, or it comes out with the front bumper. Did you check the manual ?
i didnt think it would be in the manual because the car does not come stock w/ fog lights. i'll check it out though
Note, the shop manual...not the owners manual. Also, should you need to replace the bulb you are looking for a H3-55W.
A rock hit my drivers side fog light and cracked the thick lens cover. The lens is still intact. SOG wanted $250 for the entire assembly
Turns out the problem was the bulb. Went to my local Pep Boys store and purchased a bulb for $10!.. and it only took me about 15 minutes to replace it. I ended up taking the some plastic pieces off the bottom of my car and going from behind. I saved $50..woo hoo!
