So I need to find out what the top speed or, governed speed of a new 2009 Ford Flex. I have searched high and low on the net for the info and cant seem to find it. I bet my godfather $500.00 bucks that his vehicle is governed. He wont let me drive it to find it out, he wants data. Since the dealerships will be closed tomorrow (specifically main office) I cant find it out, and I want my 500.... I know that thing has to be governed to 105 or 115 or something like that. Its a family car......!!!!! If you find the data online, paste the address please. thanks.

Its probably not worth "testing"...its 4000lbs, prob shares a transmission and motor with one of the smaller SUVs.

It will be governed, but if I had to guess it'll reach its drag limit before that considering I could carve something more aerodynamic out of a block of wood with a ball point pen.

Most ford trucks and suv's are governed to 95, 100 or 105. I've personally tested that. The Flex I have not been in/driven, so I cant tell you.

I called a Ford dealership in Cananda, he says that it is governed at 164km/h or 101.90MPH

no data, but you can call Shane in Service at Courtesy Ford in Ontario (519) 680-1200.
