So, I've had the Fozzy for a while. Now, after a bout of wanting to sell the vehicle, the lowball offers by people all over the US, I've decided to keep it and continue the modding...

With that said, she's pretty much stock...with stock, mean Stock STI Catback, Stock intake box, 3" Tanabe Catless Divorced DP, Grimmspeed adapter, and a Cobb AP Stage II 93 octane tune.

I've already had teh timing belt, water pump, thermostat, front seals, AC unit, and PS front axle replaced.

She's solid and ready to ride. I picked up a set of wheels, had the wheels repaired and now they're on the car and rolling.

    not really
i'm a cheap @ss. More than likely, I'll source a Full Stock WRX suspension and call it a day. I only want about 2" drop and comfort daily Drive-ability.

Gotcha. Well I've got the Swifts on mine and I love them. It's about a 1.5" drop, kills a lot of the body roll, but still feels just as comfortable as stock. The WRX takeoffs go for cheap but I'd definitely recommend the Swifts, especially if you can find a deal on them...

Is your Foz Steel Gray Metallic?

My Foz is PSM. Just like most of the XT's out there I've seen :)

Yeah, I thought about the swifts, 1.5" is a decent lower from Stock but I was hoping for about 2" below stock. I cant seem to find a decent set of wrx take offs that aren't high mileage, cut springs or blown.

I did find a STI take off but I hear they're inverted compared to the Forester so I don't know what it would take to make those work.

    Leather installed

    Thanks to AllPro!

They had an '05 XS they were parting out.

I was able to pick up the leather seats (power 8-way) and center console extension.

Here is a quick picture of the interior. I have to pick up the door cards w/in the next 2 weeks from Brandon to finish the swap. These seats are soo much more comfortable and have better bolstering. the lumbar in these seats, for long drives, is 10x better than the ones I had in the car originally.

As a side note, I had to wire in the 12v powered/relayed source for the power seats. it was the only plug not available on my XT. I cut the plug harness out of the donor car, spliced power from the 12v cig/aux port under the radio and bam, i have working power seats.

    Thanks again Brandon!

04 STi takeoffs work fine. The rears are known to clunk though. The only fix is regular greasing...

Why are you using a 91 octane tune?

Cheaper gas and 91 octane is available nationwide (good for road trips to the West) perhaps?

wanted to see how it performed before I bumped it to the 93 tune...

As soon as I bumped it from the 91 Stage II to the 93 Stage II (w/ the TD04) the seals started leaking.

and yes, no more smoke trail...

i'd weary of 91 pump primarliy because as i understand it, its blended at the pump and could be hit or miss what you're really getting

That is just bad luck. I am sure the problem already existed and would have eventually done the same thing down the road with the 91 oct map.
