    if you had only said this just a few days ago. There was Macrium Reflect giving away free copies for 1 day only. It's a full version from their website and so far from what I've seen it has all features you would want.

    There is DriveXML for freeware imaging. Otherwise, for backups, use NTBackup.

    is there a way to set the sizes of the files that NTBackup generates?
