2004 STi So I was installing new springs on the STi. I finished the driver side then move on to the passenger side.. I notice a HUGE puddle of gear oil on the ground.... I then jack the car up and get under to see where its coming from... It seems to be the front diff right where the axle comes in. Theres like a green metal housing and it seems to be dripping from there well its seems more like it poured out there was so much... This is a pic of the driver side.... Is this normal or is it a wtf.
Wirelessly posted You may have pulled the axel out accidentally when pressing down on the control arm to get the strut to slide back in properly.
Yeah I got it thanks for the help! kinda scary how it pops out like that.. but i guess also the suspension shouldn't move in a way that it would cause it to come out..
