I searched and couldn't find anything on the subject... I smell gas when its cold and I dont know what it is...? Just kidding. Really though, I recently smell something burning. It kind of smells like clutch, but I just got a new clutch 3000 miles ago. Its only coming from the right side of the car too. Only smell it when I turn on the heat and when I'm moving... Its not brakes. I opened the hood and the blowing heat coming from the engine smells like it. I have plenty of fresh oil in the car too. I'm stumped... Any ideas?
RF inner axle boot. ~$45 in parts (boot, grease, 2 bands, axle nut) and labor time on that is 2.0 at most any dealership.
A used axel can sometimes be cheaper than the repair. I'll check the warehouse tommorow. I may have an extra. If I do I'll let it go for 75 installed. Either way swing by since your in Roswell and I'll check it out for you.

Well Liquid took a look and it has nothing to do with my axle or boots. We couldn't find the culprit...
Yeah, thats what Liquid told me. It may have been a plastic bag or something. But I would have thought it would be totally burned off by now.
