this guy is awesome. used to post his content on somethingawful and then those guys picked him up. he has some other reviews on there that are good also: halo, bioshock, console wars, etc.
awesome? he has his valid points about first time halo players coming into this game a little blind. but its like going to see a movie sequel without having seen the original movie. and especially a movie that revolutionized the console based FPS. pretty dumb to me. the game is made to played on xbox live. it was designed to be a multiplayer game after seeing the success of halo2 when xbox live became active. and with that design the game is easily the best multiplayer fps ever.
he has it right on the head. it's a mediocre first person shooter, and everything it does has been done BETTER time and time again. also, not having 16:9 aspect ratio while doing multiplayer NOT on xbox live? what a joke. if it's a game so hyped up for multiplayer, why would the plot line matter? this franchise is the first easily accessible first person shooter for the fratboy natural light drinking "sup brah" masses, and that's about it.
