I recently got into an accident about a month ago and got my car back a few days ago. To give you some more information on the car; Im running on stage 2 Cobb Accessport with the TBE and and tune at top speed. My rev limiter before was at 6.5 RPM and now it limits at 4 thousand. When shifting at high RPMs it bogs until you let off the clutch. Now im thinking that it because of my rev limiter. I took it to SOK and they couldn't find the problem. and my second option would be to fix it with my Cobb Accessport, but its gone missing. Does anyone know if it has something to do with my tune or something electronic?

    Wirelessly posted

Was the ap in your car when it went to the body shop? If yes, notify your insurance immediately. Sounds like your car is in cobb's valet mode to me.

Yeah it was when I took it there. So will the insurance pay for that? Cause I know someone had to take it.

Yeah you'll have to prove you own it. Now that I have the day to reflect upon it, it is definitely in Valet Mode.

good call alex, i could not figure out what was wrong with his car and why it was acting up. i used his AP2 and tried swapping maps but couldnt get it to change anything. i put his AP2 back into his glove box when i was finished and he picked it up. good luck with everything and let me know if i can help you with anything else.

oh wait so he didnt lose it at the body shop, or at SOK?

well then they probly wont cover it if it just went missing. unless you can prove the car was broken into (broken window, door jambs scratched, etc) and since you dont have those or a claim on it, they probly wont cover anything in the car esp that wasnt bolted down

^^^+1 and then having to buy a new AP. Topspeed should still have your map and I am sure they would send it to you if you got a new AP.

Reflash the reatime map to your Protune or Cobb OTS real time map.
