    What Are The Best Headers For A 04 Sti? Do I Need A Retune After I Put Them On?

    not sure, but yeah it would be pointless to buy any bolt on part and not get a retune on any wrx or sti. wouldn't really net you the most performance out of the new part

    How much power are you hoping to make? Most people will tell you that unless you do full Race headers (lots of $$$) you are just wasting time and money. Some people swear by Perrin Equal Length headers. You lose that lovely boxer rumble and you sound more like a Honda (ask GTScoob), but theoretically you lose the exhaust gas pulses caused by the unequal length headers so you get faster exhaust gas velocity = more powa and faster spool. But if you are staying at relatively moderate hp numbers I really wouldn't bother.

    i have 400 hp and 378 torq. so you think i really wouldnt be able to tell a difference? i just wanted to buy something i could do myself unlike a meth kit or something like that.

    There are a lot of equal length headers coming out in the near future that should be cheaper than the perrin piece.

    good maybe perrin will drop there price then. i have all perrin stuff now. turbo kit,fmic,wing stiffis, front license plate delete.
