headlights

    ok dont kill me a searched but anyone send me to a how to take out my headlights.... i have an 04 wagon and do i need to pull the bumper or is there a way to cheat... thanks

    there was a write up not to long ago about someone who modified their headlights...i just remember they baked them to get them apart, but not much more than that. I do remember he had a really good write up w/ pics though on how to get the lights out.

    not that that helps :keke:

    yup thats what i need lol.... i know about the baking its just about how to get them out

    U don't have 2 take the bumper off. there is like a clip on the side of the head light. Once u take all the screws out u have 2 just pull the headlight. I had 2 change a bulb a few weeks back

    is there not like three screws though, i thought there was two on top and like one on the side or something

    The 1 on the side is not really a screw. Its like a lock thingy! Lol it holds the headlight in tight. Once u take those screws out just pull it up and away.

    It is very easy, should take no more than 10 minutes to remove the headlights if you're going slow.

    2 bolts on the top of each headlight + one on the inside (towards the center of your car). Remove all pop-tabs and the center grill and voila.

    Then clear, paint, retrofit, whatever.

    You should let Alex do some sweet retrofitting......WORLDS difference in lighting.
