I'm not sure if this is the right place for the thread, but since I got my car back from the body shop, the heat works fine while I'm moving (or reving the engine), but as soon as I come to a stop, it goes cold... wtf?

Before the wreck, it worked fine

yeah, check your coolant levels I think thats what causes that issue. Happens on lots of cars(seen similar issues) so it should be an easy fix.

    sounds like...

    1. Problem with the electronic HVAC system (which is why I will never own a car with Auto-HVAC)
    2. No thermostat installed in the engine
    3. Thermostat is stuck open.
    4. Other.

Well in the wreck, they replaced the radiator, so I'll check the fluid in a little bit. It hasn't been running any hotter than normal tho.

Watch out for the ejection button while your searching. And you might wanna check your headlight fluid, your lights looked kinda dim the other night

Yeah, I had to "burp" mine after SoG did a 30K mile service on my 04 WRX I had. Mine had the same symptoms.

haha, it worked good, thanks for stopping :) We had to stop 3 times on the way home so it could cool down, but I just unhooked the heater core and plumbed the two hoses together.
