Tune and maybe injectors/fuel pump.. I dunno how much fuel the 22 requires..

VF22 on a 2.5 would net you approx 330+whp with the right tune and supporting mods.

I ran a modified vf22 on my 2.5 using the v7 JDM STi pink injectors. They are about the same rating as the stock USDM STi injectors so they should be fine. Not sure about the fuel pump though. It is cheap to replace so I would swap it out anyways.

But if I were you I would reconsider the vf22. The smallest turbo I would even consider for an sti would be a 20g. The vf22 is a very small step up from the vf39 that is already on an STi. You may pick up 10-15 hp over a well tuned the stock turbo.

With the 20g you would definatley need injectors and a fuel pump.

Not on a VF22. That turbo just wont flow enough air. A 20G will give you stocklike spool but upwards of 360whp. Like Liquidforce said, you will definately need injectors for it. I'm not sure what the stock fuel pump is rated at but they're $80 and easy to replace.

I would go bigger, i wish i kinda went with a bigger turbo, on my 2.5L w/ my VF34 and my stock injectors which are 550 or 600 are max'd out like 98% i think...and i make 300whp & 340wtq...I believe a VF22 would be around the same place maybe make 10 more hp...so if you lookin for 360whp, i would go 20g!!
