Haha, ok so it's not really that important.

I'm going to gamestop to pick up Mirror's Edge for 360 tonight and was considering buying another game too, but I can't decide what. I'm not just considering new games (since my library isn't that big at all and it would be nice to not pay $60).

    Games I'm considering
    New: Fallout 3, COD5
    Old: Bioshock, Stranglehold

I'm open for recommendations too but let me go ahead and say that I'm not really interested in GOW2, End War, or Dead Space (it's funny, as much as I like horror movies, I've never been a big fan of horror games).

Oh yeah, I also don't currently have an XBox live account and don't really plan on getting one until next semester. Xbox live killed my productivity when I was playing Halo 3, and I that can't be the case this semester.

Fallout 3 is a love it or hate it game, first 15 minutes are boring then it gets badass.
Cod5 Probably just as good as COD4 only everyone will switch to 5. Not a big fan havnt played beta.
Bioshock Heard its a pretty fun/good game, havnt played it yet.
    Never heard of stranglehold.

    Imo go with fallout 3

Yeah, I've heard good things about Fallout 3, I'm just worried I won't like it. The main thing I've always hated about RPGs is the turn based combat, but from what I can tell, it isn't like that at all. I can generally handle slow games too (I used to love playing King's Quest back in the day).

Oh and I hope there is still a loyal fanbase for COD4 for some time. I don't have it but am probably going to get it for Christmas (I'm late I know). I just like the idea of modern settings over WW2 (which I feel has kind of been beat to death).

I think a lot of people will stay with COD4, it seems like WW2 shooters are getting old.

ive heard good things about the new COD, granted it isnt by the same developer of the last one but ive heard its awesome. just the shear size of people play that game online makes it good.

Haha, I did this with my regular Xbox and ran into all sorts of problems (although I still got a lot of enjoyment out of it). I'm going to wait until the 360 is a little more prevelant (cheaper) until I even consider doing it. :)

Yeah, that's what I did to my XBox and my hard drive decided to crash (I realize this may have had nothing to do with it, since I know tons of people that had also done it and the friend who did mine had flashed multiple ones successfully). Regardless, I'm going to wait a little while longer before pirating any software.

    Fallout 3.
You can play it like an FPS and it really isn't turn based at all.
The world is huge, and if you stick to the main quest line, you will miss alot of things.
