    I know how big the rivalry is between GT and UGA is...

    I was wondering how many Tech fans will be rooting for my WVU Mountaineers to beat the Bulldogs in the Sugar Bowl?

    Hmm.. interesting. I had not realized that we are GT's most hated rival. I personally pull for GT when they're playing everyone else, and all the people I work with feel the same. The only teams I hate full time are Florida, any team coached by spurrier, South Carolina, and Clemson.

    It's hard enough being a Tech fan and then losing to UGA all the time, we're certainly not going to pull for them in a BCS bowl. Boooooo......Go WYU, or whoever they're playing!

    The thing with Tech fans is that they all either go here, went here, or are paying for somebody to go here. As such we have a rivalry with UGA.

    A lot of UGA fans do not go to the school but just cheer for the team since it is the so-called flagship university of the state and has a decent winning team. Most of their fans are just casual fairweather fans and do not posess the good old fashioned hate needed for the rivalry.
