hey im ben, nice meeting everyone. i previously had a 03 wrx but it got totaled in that storm we had about a month ago. i own a 07 sti now. i love evrything about it! its got a greddy exhaust, and just tuned it with the access port tuning. any idea of what i can do next?
first off i would like to say :wavey: work on the suspension or get a protune would probably be next on my list personally
Welcome and congrats on the new purchase.. you'll love it! As far as mods, is the greddy a cat-back or turbo-back? If you don't have a downpipe yet I would start there... what are your goals for the car? Do you auto-x, 1/4 mile, just a DD? Also, post pics when you can..
welcome to the boards swaybars better suspension (coilovers preferable) get the 06 STi control arms - the 07's are horrible get a COBB ProTuner - call TopSpeed to make sure the DynAdv issue is addressed so your car doesn't kill itself. get stiffer transmission mount, and stiffer bushings for most if not all of the car's underpinnings if you don't have a full TBE, then get that too that should keep ya busy for while
Welcome! I'm sorry to hear about your bugeye, but at least you got an upgrade. If you already have an AP and an exhaust, my next mods would be: Short Shifter and Bushings Finish your exhaust upgrade (Up pipe, down pipe) Then go get a tune on a dyno!
Welcome and Nice upgrade!! Get a BOV first!! No... don't get one... kidding...bad...waste of money(right now)....:hsnono: IMO downpipe if you don't already have one. Otherwise.. 1. Short shifter & bushings 2. sway bars & endlinks. 3. Coilovers (if you got extra cash to throw) 4. start saving for FMIC, Turbo, injectors, etc. 5. Protune. Good luck!
the exhaust is a turbo back and it already has the down/up pipe. i want to get the oem gauges that goes on the clock, but i dont know if it fits the 07? so any ideas on that? do you guys have any idea were i can get some of these parts for the best price? I appreciate everytime taking their time on responding! im saring to love this place lol.
