Welcome to the site. I am sure you will find the answers here.
I am not too sure about the differences I would imagine hardly any mechanically.
Someone will surely chime in and explain in detail.

The only dealership I would give mechanical work is SOG.
I have heard of better buying prices @ some of the dealers you mention. I heard a few say of
    good prices at Classic.

I bought from Troncolli in cumming, they were very fairly priced, right where the car should have been. But do your research on what you should be paying, then no matter where you go you know what you should be paying and if they don't give it to you then go elsewhere.

http://carbuyingtips.com and of course edmunds TMV price is usually pretty accurate.

Welcome! Get a price from each of the dealerships and see who can give you the best deal :) Maybe even start a little competition between them!

not sure which dealership is gonna have the best price....I'd call around and see if they even have the one your looking for....for me personally, I've always went to Subaru of Gwinnett (SOG) and have never had a problem, always super cool to me....I bought my car in NY though, I found the one I wanted and the prices are a little lower up there....plus I'm originally from there so it was cool to see my family as well and purchase my dream car....and the drive down was amazing too!!!

If you let a dealership know ahead of time it'll give them a much better chance of getting the car you want for the price you want to pay.

A white TR for example: might be harder to find than a grey one depending on the area so if you have time to wait on delivery it's gonna help. I know that's probably common sense in a way but like someone else said, it helps if you can pit dealers against each other as well. Or just tell them that you've already got a deal in the works. I've never seen a salesman start making so many offers as when I told a guy I had already put a deposite down, on a Honda Civic Si, as I saw at SOG. Lol. The good thing was that I actually got my deposite back. :D
