    TopSpeed's Customers Sweeped the AWD class. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th.

The fastest Subaru's of the day were Mike (Liquid Force) & Jason (Genya) Good job guys!

from what i saw we only had 2 guys out there actually racing. none met the cutoff of 12.38 to get into the top 8. im a lil disappointed in the shop participation. i didnt see any shop owned cars in the showdown class. they would have been beat by a 10.49 civic (fastest car running there) anyway prolly.

My best run was a 12.53. The run was against Doug driving someone elses EVO TR. He ran a 12.2x. Allegedly someone video taped the run. I am glad they taped that one instead of my 19 sec 112mph run. ;)

This was my last weekend and my last week to be with my son before he moves off to Kansas City so I didn't make it. The car was already and tuned by Doug. I was going to let him run it for me. But it developed and issue with some coolant leaking. So he didn't want to risk it on a customer's car. I will get it out there soon hopefully.
Topspeed had alot of fast cars out there it seems. :)

    I was there and managed a 13.5 @ 102 mph with a 1.9 60 ft. Could really use an 18g. :)

I'm not ripping on anyone so please dont take my next statement that way.

I didnt go and boy am I glad because from what I heard this was a pretty weak showing as far as drag racing goes. While 12 second cars are nothing to laugh at its certainly not amazing either.

I was just to have some fun. They had competition and test and tune, it didn't cost anymore to be in the competition so I entered.

Mods are AEM intake, TXS bov, TXS mbc (runs about 16 psi), TXS 4" downpipe, somesort of up-pipe, ebay special exhaust.

I bought the car with all this stuff installed, I've only added some Prodrive springs. Not sure if it has some sort of flash.

I was thinking the same thing. I only saw one car running 10's and a few running 11's. I sure expected to see a lot more fast cars. I guess the weather scared some people off.

My best was a 13.46@102.8 with a 1.80 60 ft. I did manage to get a 1.79 60 ft on a prior run! Not bad for 225/40/18 Nitto NeoGens with tire pressure at 35lbs.

Here is a link to some pics from the showdown

Great pics thx! Not sure whats wrong with the car. Im going to take a car break this week, then get started on figuring out what the deal is. Past week has been a busy week.

Also wanted to thank Paul and Ga Dsm for having another great event. Will try again in 6 months.

Yeah those are some very respectable times, I'm glad everyone had a good time. Hopefully the Subaru and the 240 will be done in time for the next mountain run.

Oh! OK, with that much power it should run at least low 11s maybe even dip into the 10s, right!

I am hoping to run 2 weeks from now at commerce. I haven't dragged the car yet so I fully expect crappy times due to poor driver. But the trap speed should tell us a little bit. I have really wanted to run this car, but honestly have just had no time what so ever. The car was all set to be taken to the show down but it developed a leak in one of the radiator hose sunday morning and there was no time to fix it, or it would of been there.

There was supposed to be a wink wink after that, and for the record I wasnt actually implying me, there is another member of this forum (not Jason) that is making over 600hp. Ill let him tell you who he is if he likes.

Yeah, I would like to be there, when you do run it! I would also like to take some runs at commerce! Silver Dollar was the first and only place I ran my STi. Let me know when you go, I will sure to be there.

Ill see what I can do

He is already a member of the board, I'm not sure that he wants everyone knowing how much power his car makes. Ill see if I can get him to post up.
