    Uppipe.

I probably read every uppipe thread on every WRX forum, and talked to a bunch of people. Long story short, I'm going to bet on a solid pipe installed properly being the best option. I know flex vs solid is like the holy wars of uppipes, and there are good arguments for both sides... not saying my choice is better, but it's what I, after doing my research, feel most confident in.

And among the solid pipes, the Perrin seems like a very nice piece for the money. Hopefully it won't prove me wrong!

...and I guess everybody can guess what I got from Fastline. :D

Hopefully we'll never have to do that. :D

What caused yours to break? Poor factory welds?

Edit: was it a version 3 or earlier (v3 has no EGT bung, the earlier ones do)?

some people have told me that every solid uppipe they know of has broken... others tell me that in their experience no solid uppipe ever broke... and both opinions have come from pretty knowledgeable people... hopefully ur experience will be the latter

I have yet to see a solid that did not leak after a while. Just a little advice don't scemp on gaskets, I would suggest the good crush gaskets. Are we installing it on the 21st.

I'll be using OEM gaskets with a light coating of suitable ultra-high-temp stuff.

I'd like to do it on install day, so hopefully we can arrange for that. :)
