Saturday, 3/11 is the day :eek3: I'll have everything needed, parts wise that is. Gutted up pipe, Stromung shorty dp and 3ce pipe. 2.5" Stromung intermediate pipe and Pro Drive axle-back, gaskets too.

I'm planning on getting started about 1:00 pm. Hopefully back in driving condition by work Monday morning.

Anyone available to come up to Cornelia (about 25 mi. North of Gainsville)? Food and drink for anyone willing to pitch in a wrench, advice or word's of encouagement. It's been many years since I've wrenched on a car. Wish I could wait till an April install day but I'm way too anxious.

Tool question: I've seen a few recomendations for flex sockets, supposed to make the up pipe a bit easier. Especially a 14mm. I haven't been able to find but I'm trying Sear's tomorrow. Would the flex wrenchs work as well. They're a flat crescent on one and and a box end w/pivoting ratchet on the other. A 7 pc set cost around $50 or I could buy a 14mm for around $12. Will it work as well as the flex socket?

Thanks in advance for advice and if you can come up, PM. I see a couple others planning on these mods. We can make it a training day with the right instructor

Alex (WRX-WRC). I'll have your core to you next week...tks.

    Thanks...

Ya'll got something going almost every weekend. I was hoping to join in on the Mountain Cruise. I'm in next time for sure. Ought to be a group going up nearly every nice Saturday. I'm in for next Saturday if anyone else wants to go up to Western Carolina. I'm only about 2.5 hrs from Dragon Tail :)

I have a set of flex wrenches that I love. Christmas gift from my brother :wiggle:

See if you can find Gear Wrench's flex wrenches, they're awesome. I cannot make it to the install since I will be doing the cruise, but give me a call if you are stuck.

Kinda scary going it without experienced help but so many instructions and help from forums it wasn't bad at all. Spent about 6 hours in all but I was taking my time trying to get it right. Just got to fix a CEL from an O2 sensor I mistakenly broke.

I'll try to offer help at the install day for others swapping up-pipes. The cars sounds awsome and I'm anxious to get out on the road with it today, didn't get to drive it much this weekend.

If you have the cell fixes in place it shouldn't matter if the O2 sensor is broken should it?
