    guys,

    Quick question for ya.

Any idea how car insurance coverages works out if your spouse backs their car into one of your other cars?

We are on the same policy, so I am not to sure which route to approach this from.

    comments etc please

    :eek:hnoes: Thanks.

i'm assuming it would still be covered under ur guys coverage plan; however, you'll just have to pay your deductible. sorry to hear keith.

I heard somewhere that if both parties have the same insurance co.
    that the deductible was waived.

No idea if there's any truth to that though.
Hope this involves a Mazda and a Jeep and not a Subaru. :wtc:

So your saying Ped. if the STI has 250 and the Mazda has a 250 there is no deductible.. that would be odd.

I guess I will find out soon enough....

you will use your collision coverage minus the deductible. if the dmg is less than your deductible you don't need to report it. the deductible will apply to both cars, 250 & 250 unless they cut you a break

Damn your good ped!! You were completely right. At least with allstate in Georgia if both parties have the same insurance both deductibles are waved!

    What a life saver....:sx:

    sweet....

Now I know I can add that one in the brain as actually being true.
Too bad all my accidents haven't involved the same insurance co.
It would've saved me some big $$$. oh well.

Glad to see that it's all working for you.

My mom backed into my dads car twice in a months time. We ended up having to pay both deductibles. I think we had state farm at the time. I bet that had to be a fun call to make to the insurance agent.
