    Finally got the SVX back together and fired it up. It hasn't run for over a year and before that it only ran for about 8 miles in the previous year.


    The car started right up on the first try. Now all that is left is the driveshaft and it will be on the road.

    Here is an old picture. Before I got it Porter had already sold off the wheels. It now has stock SVX wheels on it.

    It has the 5 speed from my WRX. My WRX has the 6 speed.

    I think I got the driveshaft worked out today thanks to WJM.

    I will be driving the car soon. I look forward to a nice quite ride with leather seats and a sunroof. Maybe not as much power as the WRX but definately more style.

    The automatics in the SVX are well known for being crap. While I had the tranny out I tore the motor down and redid all the gaskets, seals etc...

    Ah gotcha. May as well. How is the SVX as a daily? Is it a good gas mileage car? I'm thinking of getting one in the future.

    3.3L h6...im sure its not great on gas mileage, but looked years ahead of its time
