   I have an 01 Forester that needs a tranny. I found a JDM tranny that says its for an 01 forester with 34k miles on it for $750. Will it direct bolt on my car or do JDM parts need to have modifications to fit?

   There's a trans chart. Find out what final drive you have, match it to the chart, go from there. Keep in mind axles may be different.
