I just got a catless turbo back exhaust and ap v2. the turboback will be here wenesday and the ap won't come for another week or two after. I won't have any issues when i just put on the turboback besides a cel right? The only chance i am going to have to install it this is this weekend.
I'd wait till you get the AP... theres conflicting info on that. Half of the people say you'll be fine, the other half says not so much. Better safe that sorry I say.
Ah its not going to hurt it. Just throw it on there. Pankopp ran his for over a year with no sort of EM and his car is still running strong. So for you waiting a couple of weeks would be fine
do it, nothing will happen except a cel and maybe a little richness. like stibottom said, i did it and its still all gravy..
there is actually a HUGE difference between doing it on an 02-03 wrx, and pretty much any 04+. 04+ have an OL/CL delay, which can cause problems, esp. with a turboback and no EM. just wait the extra week or whatever, then do it all at the same time...that is where you are going to notice the gains anyway.
once again, Steven has an 02-03 (cant remember which). an 02-03 is not going to run into any issues with a turboback exhuast and no EM.
