only if you have to do your clutch as well, don't take your tranny just to do this mod.

Light weight is the best thing you can do to a WRX. Combine with light weight pullys (NOT underdriven) and its golden.

However, on AVCS-DBW cars, you cant do pullys AND flywheel. Pick one.

Don't lightened fly wheels sometimes throw CELs?

I have gotten a few misfire codes in my bugeye, but quickly cleared with AP. Always cylinder 4...Any ideas why it is always that one?

Flywheels less than 12lbs will throw CELs on WRXs. I'm loving mine even though it feels like I have to launch the car to get it rolling up a hill now. I've got one of the brand new Fidanza ones, they're on supersale on nasioc from a vendor on there.

I have a 13.1 lb flywheel, and I just threw a P0301 Misfire Cylinder 1. Is this a big issue I should have looked at? Or is this just something you need to get used to?

probably something to get used to I mean I have had mine on for nearly 7500 mi and have had 2 cel's misfires. Probably not a big deal

Bobby you are exactly right while the revs are worth it sometimes up hill takeoffs feel like I gotta launch it.

Quick question on the Flywheels. Technically it's not adding horsepower but lessing the horsepower loss to the wheels. The question I was wondering is how much?

I have an ACT stage 2 clutch in my teg and love it makes me look down on the stock wrx clutch. Let me know what you think of the clutch after it is installed. Looking forward to stock clutch going bad.

Hard to say. I'd expect more of an effect in lower gears. In the higher gears, the drivetrain load will increase enough to minimize the effect of a lightened flywheel.

And you have an 02 bugeye? Bye bye tranny.

I have the Fidanza 9 lb flywheel in my 2004 WRX. Never threw a CEL because of it.
