Looking at 98 Outback

    So I am looking at picking up a 98 Outback as a daily driver. Its a 5-speed with 167K miles. Has new timing sets and head gaskets. Has a small oil leak. Anything specific I need to check out before purchase?

    where is the leak coming from?

    If the HG have already been done, then you should be golden...

    i have a 1998 outback limited for sale. it has 131k on it and has a used motor with about 50k in it eith new timing belt water pump,cam seals,front oil pump,front seals, and headgaskest were done on the motor before putting it in the car. its a DOC motor, and is an automatic. brand new tires and brakes. re-built power steering pump and new doj boots. basically the car is perfect. let me know if your interested at looking at it. im asking $4500 obo

    I saw kings car last week when I was up there its super clean I would buy it.

    I am looking at trading my Mustang for it or I would go look at Kings'.
