I got in this FINALLY!! Not sure how many online gamer dorks we have here, but if you sign up for the beta, put "Blue Line" as your guild in the beta application and you should have a much better chance of getting into the beta. They are trying to get all members of guilds on as quick as possible and together, so since i already got on, everyone in my guild should be able to get on a little more quickly. Yup, sorry was at work..and Lord of the Rings Online! Don't forget to put Blue Line as your guild as it should greatly increase your chances of getting in!
I think I am the only one currently in, but I know of at least one that got an invite today. I am sure there are others that I have not heard about yet. I generally play after 11 pm. Sometimes during the late afternoon though. The rest of the guys usually played early evening to night time. Some are like me though and go early morning. Weekends, times just vary. Let me know when you are getting on for the first time and I can come lend a hand! My characters that I play the most are Rush and Rushi. You can throw them on the friends list. Just shoot me a heads up when you get on so I know who you are. Mike
I got the invite yesterday too, downloaded the client and can start playing tomorrow at 8. Can't wait. My Characters name will be Gundaar.

I guess its a choice thing. I personally like collaborating with my friends rather than competing with them, at least most of the time...
im more in to pvping personally.... it just feels good to completly own an oposing player and have them yell at you for an hr.. ./ignore ftw
Just got 2 more added to the group. One is named Thoradin and he gets on earlier for you guys that play early. Send him a tell and he can hook ya up with an invite. I am usually on late as Rushi or Rush still after the wipe.
This game is horrible, its WoW with a LOTR skin. Already gave away my beta account. I think a friend of mine has an extra if anyone wants this utter crap of a game.
I think it is very well done, has much better graphics than Wow and really only lacks the PvP which I can do without. Everyone has something different when they are looking for a mmorpg. I think this blows WoW out of the water. Let me know when you get in Calm.
I had to create a new character. I didn't play for like 2 or 3 days last week, then when I went to log on Friday, my characters were gone. New players name is Gundar so my characters were definitely deleted since I was able to use the same Name. Is that normal, if you don't play for a couple days they delete you character?
No, no it does happen every couple months, but they usually offer some sort of concession to the players that were getting up there in levels. In this case for the older players they allowed you to go back to level 30 or 20. Not too much of a concession for those that were 45 but still nice. I mean this is Beta, and a lot of games just wipe it then say too bad, lol. It is annoying, but ya still getting to play for free! Alex you should contact Blink and see if his friend can get you in.

If you look on the forums there is an alternate download site. My buddy had the same issue. He contacted their tech support and they were able to help him.
