Well I have the old 1991 560 SEL and I replaced what I thought was a collapsed valve spring only to find out that the valve is slightly bent once I did all the work to replace the spring. Oh well I can deal with that (should run for a bit w/bent valve) but I added coolant and once it made it into the block and started boiling a bit it started smoking from under the air filter. Any ideas? intake manifold gasket? Any mercedes experts in the house?

she ain't running well enough to get there. I think I am going to put some bars lube or that radiator/block fix tomorrow and cross my fingers. You can swing by tomorrow after 5:15 if you want and take a look.

Bad part is I wanted to see if it would burn off the antifreeze and it got really HOT. Maybe Fugged something up good...the valves were rattling good.
