I have been plagued with 2psi that went bye bye on me all of a sudden. Stage 1 Cobb wrx with an up-pipe by TurboXs. I could write a 3 page write up of all the things I've done to try and find this problem and the tune-up stuff I bought for my 2003 wrx. Plugs, air cleaner...

was running 15psi now 13-13.5psi. It runs a little lean and I sprayed all hoses except those little ones :hsnono: I did get an occasional 13.9psi but my timing goes between 9.5-14 degrees on idle.

quick list of what I tried.

spare turbo was swapped on (only has 20K miles on it; TD04L)
    Up-pipe changed
new spark plugs (NGK Iridiums IV)
    PCV replaced
Air cleaner cleaned (K&N in stock air box)
    New Fuel filter
Oil change including a pretreatment to clean engine before changing (turbo safe)
    Lucas fuel system cleaner

    Check the little hoses.....

Also may want to make sure that the little restrictor pill is still in the hose as well.

all hoses checked. One going from the actuator valve to the intake was dried and cracked and replaced. Still missing 1-2psi. Still puzzled.:squint:
