Mountain Run

    Would anyone be interested in doing a mountain run here in the near future...? It'll be in the north georgia mountains, around Suches and that area... Let me know and we can set a date.

    Me and Aspen05 are going to make a run up there this weekend (Sunday) if anyone else wants to join up... We are going to meet in the Sardis area, but we can meet whoever wants to come at the gas station in Suches...

    About an hour, but if you want to come up 400 then we can meet in Dahlonega somewhere... It will be the hwy 129 loop unless anyone has any ideas. We were also thinking about leaving around 1:00pm

    We are meeting in two places... First we are going to meet in the Sardis/North Hall area at 1:00, and then we are heading the 'Rock Pile' on hwy 60 around 1:45.
    So far it is just me (06' STi), Aspen05 (05' WRX), and a guy from my work with a bike.... Feel free to join if you can! Send me PM if you'll be able to make it, or if your not too sure where those two places are.

    It was great! Saw one cop while we were at the top cooling down and that was it! The road was kinda greasy and there a few spots of gravel due to the heavy down pour on Sat. night, but other than that, it was perfect! We need to get a big group to go up there! We could get a few good pictures of everyone together

    Big groups up there tend to draw a LOT of attention. I have lead one group up there and we had about 35 / 40 cars in it.

    Keep your eye on the mountain run forum for another cruise being set up soon. Subaru's , mountains, and food :)

    Yeah, when groups are that big, its best to split up into smaller groups, and then meet up in one location after.

    I think I saw you guys. Did you guys see me? Blue 06 STi? I saw two white Imprezas stopped at this place on blood mountain with their hoods opened.

    Even with split groups you still dont stay out of trouble... so we have cut back on mountain runs and do more large cruises.
