I can't make the mtn. run next weekend because i'll be up in New York, would anyone be up for a run this weekend? Just a preemptive thought, seeing if anybody was interested. I would want someone else more comfortable with the roads to lead, i don't know the route that well or the fuzz spots.

I know I haven't really met any of you guys, but I'm definitely headed to N GA ths weekend if anyone wants to get some driving in. They're opening the dam at Tallulah Gorge, which doesn't hppen very many times per year. Usually the river is just a trickle waaaaaaaaaay down at the bottom of the gorge. I was up there last Sunday and there are too many leaves on the trees still. You can't see around a turn far enough to play up there safely in my opinion. Plus the "leaf lookers" are still all over the place. Late Nov or sometime in Dec would be fun, granted there isn't any gravel on the road from previous ice weather.
I was up there 2 weekends ago and there was some traffic. I ended up just pullin off the road and chilling for a bit until the road cleared up. Still turned out to be a nice little run. didnt even see any police b/c they were too busy working some fair / festival thing in dahlonega
