Went to atlanta this past weekend geting on i75 coming back home hit a driveshaft busted 2 wheels bent struts lower control arm car is in ruff shape.
Sorry to hear of your misfortunes, I had a retread get thrown on my hood on 75 some time ago. I feel your pain.
all highways are bad in summer especially hot summers where the rethreads are separating and I think there should be a law to have those guys pick up the leftouts. And if not reporting them and should get i fine.
I heard about that driveshaft in the middle of the road on the radio this morning..From what I hear you werent the only one that hit it.
My wife just ran over a HUGE wheel and tire laying in the road last month...cost us $950 to get her radiator and fan repaired on her 05 mustang gt. Believe me, I feel your pain!! As for the insurance company, they will list it as a collision with you at fault, better to try to come out of pocket and keep your record clean. That is what we did...they were only going to pay $400 of the $950 due to the deductable.
