http://decals.wrxatlanta.com/v3_1.jpg How does everyone like a design like this? Obviously, can fill it in with a certain color(s), or have it silver as our decals are now. However, I am also interested in an outlined sort of version. This is pretty rough, but in this the outline is essentially the silver that is the color of our current decal. I am also considering using a design of this nature for the new logo for version 3.
We're out and in the process of looking to reorder some. The last guy who cut them had offered me amazing prices. I am having trouble getting in touch with him and will just call him at some point when my time allows.
the middle one has my vote. I would like to keep if silver like the current ones so that it matches the "AWD" sticker on the windows. But, color options would be nice to graffitti things with.
alex i spoke to milo sat about shirts, anything in the near future? would have been awesome to show up at the wharehouse meet in them. i would like to have them at nopi this year. let me know, i(as well as others i am sure) would be more than happy to help with the cost of getting them made. Online Store Have you guys ever looked into starting up one of these? We wouldn't need to go out and find a shirt vendor, a hat vendor, etc. Just a thought...
i think the stickers need more contrast, they wont read from far away or in dimly lit areas, thats why white/black works so well
I like the middle one. Having the WRX logo is pretty cool, and i also like the lowercase atlanta. As far as colors, I want a black sticker that I can stick on the back door right above the little indented trim line (looks to STI on banner above). One on each back door
Regarding merchandising: Milo and myself have been discussing this for the longest time. This even dates back to when the club was founded and Faysal and myself were working with it. We would like to get it done, and I have been given the no's of a coulpe of people to get in touch with, one being Moose's buddy. This is a project that I would like to conquer once the semester is over, and I have like a solid week to dedicate to it. As for the contrast, the first 100 of the original decals I just ordered are being finalized and shipped soon so those will be here. I also had a bunch of different styles cut to just see how they would look. If we would like colored ones, let's make a conciousous decision as to which colors we want so I can order say 25 of ea. Colored decals will cost mony, where as the silver ones are to be used as handout freebies (like the cards). More to come on everything later!

Hello, I like the design, but I think that it looks better with silver writing and also lower case atlanta. Have you thought about using a background with a subie behind the writing, such as solberg's etc?. That would look really cool.... Just my 2 cents... Mark
I think if you put anything more than the letters then it will be hard to read. At 1"X3" there's not much room for extras. In the case of the stickers, the object is to get the word out not be flashy. The more graphic design would look good on a shirt or hat though where people aren't trying to read it while driving. But simplicity gets my vote for the stickers: text only, single color, easy and straightforward.
I found this site on the internet. http://www.licenseplateframe.com I did a screen capture of a web page that shows prices declining with volume orders, down to $10 a frame for 25+ order quantities. I don't think I have enough posts yet to post a picture, but soon. On the home page click on "Build Your Own Custom Frame Online" and then on the resulting page click one of the 4 choices of frame types... plastic, metal, etc. I'd sure like to replace my "Ed Voyles" tag frame with something "WRXatlanta" ish. I dont like the design though...this has been my major prob. I want the top to be straight (and not so thick) and the bottom to have the trapezoid deal... However, if its what people would like we could pool a group buy and sell them. I'll pick up some extras so sell along with other things.
